Department of English
Open Lab Hours Olin 369 Open Labs will start around week 8. Days and Times TBA
During Open Lab hours, students enrolled in computer-enhanced sections of English Composition 112 may work freely in the lab. The labs will be staffed with trained student techs, and students will have access to equipment like Web cams and microphones.
We cannot guarantee compatibility between labs on campus. Anytime you move projects from one computer to another, you risk errors.
For best results, you should be sure to save all of your work (the movie project, images, video, and audio) to one folder. Saving media in separate locations may result in errors.
As USB drives are easily misplaced, students might consider using a cloud service like Dropbox to save their work and related files. Dropbox provides 2GB of space for free and offers larger storage options for a monthly fee.
